Matthew Now Lifts 340 lbs MORE
Coming into the off season, my max on bench was at 155 lbs… I could barely squat 135 lbs… and I could barely deadlift 185 lbs… I am now maxing my bench at 225 lbs… squat at 305 lbs… and my straight bar deadlift rose to about 285 lbs where my trap bar reached just shy of 365 lbs! All I can say is thanks to Kris and the staff for everything you have done for me this summer. If it weren’t for you guys I feel as though I would not be this prepared going into this season.

If I couldn’t get results when working out for over two hours, five days a week, how was he going to help me get results in about an hour a day, three days a week?
Throughout these few months I have lost ten pounds. I’ll admit that doesn’t sound like much, until you consider that I have gained weight in muscle. I couldn’t even deadlift 315 pounds on the first day. Last week, I did it 7 times.

I started attending IronCore at the beginning of April. At first I was a little skeptical, and I just wanted to see how it would go after a couple weeks. These couple of weeks turned into 5 months of me becoming a better athlete.
I came in at 185 lbs., and… put on over 10 lbs of muscle since starting, got a lot stronger than I was and my bench went from a struggling 135 lbs to maxing at 235 lbs.
I went through division 1 strength and conditioning training, something I would never have dreamed of doing before coming to IronCore. Iron core has allowed me to take the steps to become the athlete I wanted to be! Before iron core I relied on more skill rather than being able to out strength people. When I stepped on the court I was more of a shooter, but ever since I started iron core I am able to get to the hole easier using speed and strength! Also before iron core I couldn’t really jump high at all! But now I’m finally getting over the rim, and slowly increasing my vertical. Iron Core Helped Adrian Recover From Injury And Become Second Team All Conference His Sophomore Year
I first started coming to Iron Core Athlete after my senior year of high school because I needed a gym to get ready for college football. College has a more intense speed in the game, bigger size and I knew in order for me to be at that level, I needed a great place to train. Since I started training here, my strength has gone up, my speed has increased and I am a more skilled football player nowAfter getting injured my Freshman year I came back to Iron Core and started training harder. Sophomore year came and I had 99 tablets, I was one of the leaders in the conference and I was second team all conference last year as a Sophomore. This year I’m planning to be All American and hopefully bring home a ring to Susquehanna University.
I brought one of my friends to Iron Core and he said he loved it. He brought the training techniques we learned home with him and to the Coast Guard.

During my Iron Core experience I’ve gained over 15 lbs, my 40 yard dash has went from a 5.0 to a 4.7, and before I started I couldn’t even touch rim and now I’m close to dunking. The amount of knowledge I’ve gained about correct weight lifting since I started was unbelievable. My deadlift has also went from 211 lbs to 355. Kris knows what he’s doing and I highly suggest anyone serious about any sport to get into ironcore and work with kris.

After going to iron core for a little over a year I've seen so many changes in my speed, strength, agility, and confidence on and off the field. In field hockey my playing has improved an enormous amount as I'm much more aggressive and confident in all the plays I make. Before I would get pushed around on the field and not be as strong with my plays but now I win the ball and instead don't go down no matter how hard I'm shoved. In track my speed and footwork have both improved and my strength gains have turned me into a mid distance runner in the 400 and 800 instead of a short distance sprinter 100 and 200. Iron core has pushed me and given me the support and drive to get stronger and to be better in everything I do. Most importantly Iron Core has taught me to always give it my all because to be great you have to work hard.

I loved every minute that I spent at ironcore. Once you step into that facility for that one hour, you know you're in for a tough workout. No matter what, I was always motivated. Kris pushes each athlete very hard and works them to their full potential. I made major gains while training at Ironcore; I was stuck at 315 for my max bench, now I can't get it for 3 reps and my max is now at 365. My squats and deadlifts substantially rose as well. To anyone who takes their athletics seriously and is focused on becoming quicker and stronger, I would highly recommend training at Ironcore.

My son had trouble with agility and speed so we signed him up with iron core for the summer program for 2 months. He wasn't happy at all when we first signed him up. BUT when he was completed with his 2 month program he asked if he could finish off the last 2 weeks of the summer. He told me it made him feel strong like a MAN! Well his training made a huge difference he is constantly lined up with kids in football and more than holds his own with kids that are 40 and 50 lbs heavier. A huge task for a 10 yr old. I had a blast at ironcore and I can't wait to come back. I gained lots of strength,my speed has gotten a lot better,big change on my 40 this year. I made lots of new friends. My favorite thing about Iron Core is the atmosphere in the building. Whenever I walked in I new that I was going to have a good day and have major gains. I wanted to say thank you so much for everything you have done for me. Iron Core has helped me improve so much. I have faster feet and I am able to get to the ball a lot faster in the outfield and I am able to get to the bases a lot faster. I've been hitting the ball farther and I've been so close to home runs!! I love iron core to pieces and what it has done for me and my sport I am so thankful for. Everyone there treated like each other like family and did what they had to do to get the work done. I would choose iron core over any other place in a heart beat because we would do stuff that would help you so much and you wouldn't even know what it was doing. You might be sore the next day but it was 100% worth it. Thank you so much for everything

My time at iron core has had huge effects in my life immediately, it has visibly made me a better sprinter. But more importantly it allows my love for hard work to really take a physical form and lets it flourish. I cannot wait to get back in for winter now that my fall sport is over

What I have gained so far from iron core is so much. I can already tell that my legs are stronger because before I couldn't touch the basketball rim and now I can easily. I've gotten quicker feet and just faster all around while running up and down the court. I've gained so much but I ain't done yet. Couldn't have done it without you and the other that work there! I started coming to iron core cause I just couldn't get the results I wanted on my own. After a few sessions I was in love! 3 weeks In I started seeing great results. Bench press up 50lbs, trap bar deadlift up 100lbs and countless other things. Not only did I physically grow stronger, but also mentally due to the great support and amazing atmosphere! I am proud to be able to say that I'm an iron core athlete!

Iron core helped me tremendously. I became a better athlete all around. Kris's workout are made to push you. If you show up and put in the time Kris will get you to where you wanna be. It doesn't matter how much you can lift at iron core Kris makes you feel special. You are guaranteed gains there. The atmosphere is great because the people there all have the same goal of getter stronger and better. If you go to Iron Core you will become stronger and better at your sport. Kris helped me get even stronger after I came back from my knee surgery! He's a great guy and will help you accomplish your goals!

Iron core athlete gave me the speed and strength which made me ready to compete at the next level. Kris is a great trainer who prepares his athletes well. Kris focused on developing work outs specifically for your wants and needs as an athlete, as well as focus on the developmental aspect of the sports in which you perform. It is a top notch facility with top notch athletes who want to perform at a higher level. The atmosphere in the gym is filled with an intensity and focus, that'll make you want to push yourself to maximum capacity until your session has concluded. Iron Core also is very diverse with its athletes and it gives you the ability to branch out and be social as well as become accommodated with different sports and people. I still remember the people who I'd work out with each session. Iron Core allowed me to become the type of athlete I wanted to become and has prepared me for the next level of competition.

I have had both of my kids go thru the Iron Core program. My son has attended for almost a year with his baseball team and individually to increase his strength and speed. I've seen a difference in his work ethic and he wants to continue to do the workouts at the gym and at home. He enjoyed working out with his teammates as well as meeting new friends.
My daughter attended before beginning her collegiate field hockey career. She really felt motivated and encouraged by her trainer each session. She was pushed to limits that she was going to face in college and it worked for her. She has gained quickness and strength to go from a high school athlete to a college athlete. I would highly recommend Iron Core and the trainers that make connections to each individual kid.

I decided to try Iron Core based on a recommendation from a friend of mine . I was very surprised at the results. In the first year of training he attended FBU football camp and was selected to go to Ohio to earn a spot on the US Army All American Bowl. He also advanced to Pennsylvania Junior High State Championships in Johnstown. I never dreamed that within such a short time he would be at such an advanced level. I contribute that to Brian's hard work through Iron Cores detailed training program . Kris Hicks cares about his students and always takes the time to let each kid know how proud he is of them and that he cares.

Throughout my time training at iron core, I gained a noticeable amount of speed and quickness. My improvement of speed and quickness immediately transferred to my sport, softball. In the outfield I noticed an increase in my range, and I also noticed an improvement in speed running the bases. I also think I gained a great deal of strength while training at iron core. My throws from the outfield became better and stronger. I also noticed that I was able to hit the ball with more power. The atmosphere at this facility is very welcoming, motivating, and intense. It is a great place to work on what you want to individually improve.

My son reluctantly agreed to start training three days a week at Iron Core. He was not a kid who loved working out and didn't have high expectations. Much to his surprise, he loved going to Iron Core and working out with the staff, especially Kris. His strength gains were noticeable. I saw him doing push ups at home, just because he wanted to see how many he could do. He took a real interest in strength training, beyond his goals for performance in his sport. The confidence he gained was immeasurable and carried over to his goals for losing weight. He is stronger AND 25 pounds lighter! As an aside, I was impressed when my son had a minor ankle injury, and Kris, himself, worked with my son individually to ensure he wouldn't do anything to further injure his ankle. Kris really does create a family atmosphere, and your dollars are well spent sending your kids to Iron Core.

Iron Core worked with many of our PV athletes this winter throughout January and February. The weekly sessions were full of creative, yet intense drills that pushed our athletes way past their comfort zones. They also made it fun by including competitive games and challenges. Now that our spring season has started, the evidence of these sessions is plain to see. My team is better conditioned and stronger than they were in previous seasons thanks to Iron Core.
